Local Produce Link Toolkit

The Local Produce Link Toolkit is a resource to help food banks, non-profit organizations and other groups provide emergency food programs with fresh vegetables from local farms. The toolkit describes a model developed by Just Food and United Way of NYC called Local Produce Link. It includes information about recruiting and selecting farmers, farmer-agency matching, food and farm education (including cooking demonstrations and farm trips for food pantry staff and clients), record keeping, and program evaluation.
