Just Food Office Support Volunteer The mission of Just Food is to develop a just and sustainable food system in the New York City region by fostering understanding, communication and partnership among diverse groups concerned with farming, hunger, and sustainability issues. We nurture collaborative projects that develop community leadership, support the region's farms, boost local food production, promote equitable food distribution, foster environmental stewardship and create Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs and farmers' markets. Just Food's four primary programs are CSA in NYC, The City Farms, Community Food Education, and Food Justice.
While Just Food works with projects and people throughout NYC our Midtown office is the epi-center of our work. Just Food is currently seeking office volunteers in our Manhattan office to assist with various tasks such as organizing, sorting, and cataloging. Learn more about food justice issues while you work!
