Kegs & Kluckers: City Chicken Project Launch Party

On July 6th, Just Food and NYC Homebrewers Guild celebrated the launch of Just Food's City Chicken Project 2011 with KEGS & KLUCKERS a NYC Good Beer Month Event.

Inspiration for Kegs & Kluckers came from a little known chicken-keeping fact: chickens can eat the grains spent when brewing beer. In order to foster this connection, Just Food invited chicken keepers, homebrewers (and those who love them both) to Brooklyn Brewery for an egg-cellent time. The event included delicious home-brewed beers, egg-cellent local fare, Egg Olympic Games and a fabulous raffle.
