The host of Just Kidding, Scott Blakeman, has made more than thirty national television appearances, and has been called "The top political comedian working in New York today"(NBC). He has performed his progressive political humor around the world, including the Jewish Historical Museum in Amsterdam, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal.
Christine Lavin's witty songs (most frequently about relationships and modern life), hilarious on-stage presentation (storytelling, twirling glowing batons) and irreverent attitude have enlivened the folk scene for more than 20 years. Her work has been described as "captivating" (Billboard), "enchanting" (Cosmopolitan), and the Boston Globe called her "the classic American troubadour." Christine is currently assembling a compilation album of all food songs called One Meat Ball.
Unabashedly smart and wickedly funny, Leighann Lord has appeared on numerous stand-up comedy shows, including NBC's Comedy Showcase, the Metro Channel's New Joke City with Robert Klein, Lifetime's Girls' Night Out, VH-1's Stand Up Spotlight, HBO's Def Comedy All-Star Jam, Comedy Central's Premium Blend and Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, and ABC's The View.
Dean Obeidallah co-headlines Standup for Peace with Scott Blakeman. He has been seen on ABC, CNN, MSNBC, and can be heard regularly on Air America Radio. He is featured in the DVD version of Fahrenheit 911. Dean is the co-founder of the NY Arab-American Comedy Festival. He performs in Laughing Liberally at Town Hall May 19.

ABOUT JUST FOOD - Just Food helps keep local family farms in business, brings the highest quality produce to NYC neighborhoods, trains people to train their neighbors in market development, food growing, food preparation and preservation; and builds community self-reliance.
It runs the unique Community Supported Agriculture "CSA" in NYC, City Farms, Community Food Education and Institutional Purchasing programs, while advocating for marketplace and policy change that strengthens people, farms and communities. In 2005 Just Food's efforts provided over $1m in sales to local family farms, while providing around 10,000 New York City people with access to organic and sustainably-grown food. Just Food has provided assistance to help start and manage 4 urban farmstands and 40 CSAs citywide, and opens additional sites every year! We also run a VISTA program that helps improve our capacity to develop CSA and farmers' markets and build self-reliance in low-income NYC neighborhoods.
