JUST FOOD CONFERENCE
The annual Just Food Conference convenes over 700 community organizers, urban and rural farmers, CSA members, educators, local food enthusiasts, and members of the press for a full day of interactive workshops, policy disucssions, and good food. Programming will include urban agriculture skill-building, cooking and food preservation techniques, current opportunities to advocate for equitable food policy, and strategies for mobilizing communities to create more equitable access to fresh, locally grown food.
The 2016 Just Food Conference will be held on Sunday, March 13th, in partnership with the Laurie M. Tisch Center for Food, Education & Policy at Teachers College, Columbia University. We are thrilled to announce that the farmers of Rise & Root Farm will deliver our keynote address. For tickets and more information, visit JustFoodConference.org.
