Padre Plaza Garden Fundraiser (South Bronx Community Farmers Market)

What: Garden Fundraiser. Buy a variety of items including plants, electronics, games, toys, cd's, DVD's, and more. Items are donated by garden members. Hot dogs, burgers, and face painting will also be sold at a reasonable price.  Donations are very much appreciated.

When: December 5, 2009. 12 noon sharp

Why: Help us raise money for garden Christmas decorations and much needed garden supplies (lumber,planting soil,seeds,garden tools etc..)

Hattie Carthan Community Farmers' Market

End of Season Ceremony and Celebration 

What: End of Season Ceremony and Celebration.  The Market will be open with the usual array of fresh fruits and vegetables, herbs, ciders, and cheeses for sale.  We will also have a juice bar with healthy vitamin filled shots made on site with produce from the Market, herbal beverages, and festive holiday items.  Please join us to celebrate the first year of achievements of the Hattie Carthan Community Farmers’ Market and show your support for the seasons to come.

When: December 19, 2009, 11am to 3pm.  Ceremony at 12 noon.
