Through the adversity of the past week, we’ve been inspired by our fellow New Yorkers. The friendliness that outsiders say New Yorkers lack bubbled up as we walked across bridges together, stood together in crowded lines and buses, and shared rides with strangers. Generosity poured forth as New Yorkers who came through the storm relatively unscathed opened up their homes to friends and family; they donated their time, money and other resources to lighten the burden for others who were less...

Bright orange carrots, vibrant greens and fresh fish sit just feet from the bustling intersection of Marion St. and Malcolm X Blvd in the Bed-Stuy neighborhood of Brooklyn. Tables overflow with fresh fruit, homemade pies, green beans and ears of corn so sweet you can eat them raw.

Throughout the year Just Food hosts different workshops that pertain to the development of your CSA. These workshops are helpful to new as well as existing CSAs.

All workshops are held at the Just Food office (1155 Avenue of the Americas between 44th Street and 45th Street, 3rd floor) from 6:00pm to 8:00pm unless otherwise noted. To RSVP for a workshop, please e-mail paula@justfood.org
